Attractions
Attractions are when one exhibits the desire to entice others. One may try to entice others in a plethora of ways, may it be through movie trailers, like the reading Coming Attractions details, seduction, like the reading Self-Seduction describes, or even doing a private act in public, like Emma Bovary’s Cab explains. By creating a scene of enticement or pleasure, others are drawn to it, completing the cycle. The audience is key, for if they did not like the performance, the creators would not be putting on this show. An example of this is in a strip club. The exotic dancer tries to put on a show for the audience in the club, showing them private parts of their body that they would not get to see usually. By revealing this intimate part of themselves, they entice the audience and create an attraction.
