Intensities Intensities are auras or “vibes,” if you will, that permeate the environment of an individual or group of individuals. They are not specifically feelings, but more like vague ambiences that individuals feel and react to when present. For example, in the reading Nakedness, the act of being naked does not solely lie with the person who is unclothed, instead it permeates through all individuals, and nakedness leads to the aura of openness in this case. An example that comes to mind is when friends sing along to the lyrics of a song in the car. Usually a person does not proclaim or ask the other individuals to sing along, but when someone starts singing, a feeling overcomes the others. Soon enough, the whole car is singing along. You can feel the energy between the individuals, and this energy is what I believe intensities are. Friends in a car listening to “I’ll Be Missing You” by P-Diddy
